Good News

I'm so excited. I just received a contract for a story that will be in an anthology to be released later this fall. It is a "Sweet Romance" collection coming from Freya's Bower.com
and my story is "New Love." It is quite a bit different from the traditional romance as the characters are senior citizens -- very senior-- :-) But love knows no age.

On another note, my virtual tour is continuing. Today I am at http://lumorgan.blogspot.com/ If you are not totally sick of reading about me, come on by to see what we are talking about today.

I have been on this blog for three days this week, and it has been a great experience. LuAnn Morgan was a wonderful hostess, and I hope to see her blog grow in popularity. She loves to read and is so gracious to authors. We need to support her.

Thanks so much, Maryann, for the wonderful support. I really did enjoy hosting you and I hope I get the opportunity to do the same thing with other authors.

I came to post this comment while looking for more information on: "The Many Faces of Grief" as Today is October 25th and 36 years ago today my youngest of three daughters, Hollie Rebecca Montgomery, was born. The connection is that on May 13, 2004 my "Baby Girl" (which is what I always called her) was shot & killed. If "The Many Faces of Grief" is a book, I would be interested in reading it. I have not figured that out yet. My face is certainly one of them, as if losing her was not enough, my oldest daughter, Sunday Lorraine Marie Braley died on July 18, 2005 of a complication of Breast Cancer. Having my three daughters then go down to one surviving daughter, and still my one & only son, certainly has made my face, heart, and head be that of Grief! Just getting through each day takes all the effort I can muster sometimes. Reading & writing are two of my favorite activities, but both are sometimes too difficult to accomplish-then I work on my photography, my third (sometimes first) love. My main goal is to write books, speckled with photos to depict the stories, & toward that end I read as much as I can from folks who are accomplished in these areas. I only just found your site, this morning, by following through from Marja Meyers, my good friend who has three books published now, (Sacred Sabbath, Respectfully Yours & Breath of Life) and whom I have known since before she wrote the first of those. She is such an inspiration to all who know her, and now to all who have read her. We no longer live close to her, in CA, but have moved to the state of WA. I so miss being around her. At least listening to her books on CD help lessen the pain of not getting to sit down & talk over a cup of tea. I look forward to reading your books, too. Thanks for all the links.
